- ARTZ Pedregal Acquisition Award
- ARTZ PEDREGAL, an architectural ensemble designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, gave for the first time the ARTZ Pedregal Acquisition Award for Public Space for up to 1 million USD. Intended for large scale sculptures and installations, the pieces are planned to be exhibited in the central park of the urban center to be inaugurated in November 2017, with the intention of contributing to generate open urban environments and social interaction in Mexico City.

- ESPAC Acquisition Award
- ESPAC Espacio de Arte Contemporáneo, an independent non-profit organization, gave an acquisition award for USD 10,000, destined to emerging national and international artists within the section New Proposals of the fair. The awardees were chosen by ESPAC's curatorial team, headed by Willy Kautz, Esteban King and Laura Orozco.

- Tequila 1800 continued enforcing its commitment to art and design through the fourteenth edition of the Tequila 1800 Collection Award. With a selection committee headed by Ercilia Gómez Maqueo, Director of Fomento Cultural of Fundación José Cuervo, the award was open to painting, sculpture, installation, photographs, performance and mixed techniques.
